Application Description

A minimalist non-field RPG: Escape the cursed forest.

Prologue: You're the village's best hunter, drawn to a national hunting tournament near the royal capital. After your first night camping, you awaken to find the campsite deserted – all other hunters vanished. National guards oversee the tournament, yet no one is in sight. Attempting to return to the starting point, you discover you're lost, trapped in a strangely disorienting forest.

The Elven Curse: Aided by Foria, a quarter-elf, you must escape the cursed forest. Gameplay is remarkably simple, using a maximum of three buttons at any given time, excluding the main menu.

Character Creation: While character customization is limited, you can freely reroll stats. Stat increases from leveling are only visible on this screen, not during gameplay. Losing all life force results in character death. You need at least two "talismans" to avoid this.

Foria, the Peddler Quarter-Elf: A seemingly young quarter-elf who secretly assists your escape using the forest's ancient spirits.

Game World & Narrative: The prologue unfolds like a picture story, with Foria's dialogue adding a cheerful counterpoint to the ominous setting. The game's world is presented through evocative, understated language.

Exploration: Progress through the forest by exploring unexplored areas. Exploration success depends on "fog depth" and your character's stats. If your life force is depleted, use poison or rare "talismans" to recover, or return to Foria.

Beast Encounters & Hunter Battles: The forest is home to various creatures, from wolves to surprisingly aggressive frogs and rabbits. Defeating them yields hides for trading with Foria. Unlike typical RPGs, combat is optional and doesn't provide experience points. The goal is escape, not conquering bosses. Battles are avoided by maintaining distance and using your bow and arrow. Closing the distance results in a one-sided attack. You can either withdraw to regain distance or use a "flash" ball provided by Foria for a guaranteed escape.

Cloak System: Craft a cloak from gathered materials (branches, resin, leather) to enhance your abilities. Up to three layers can be added, each increasing ability values. The top layer may tear and become unusable. The bow and arrow remain your only weapon.

Gameplay Style: This game prioritizes enjoyable, strategic gameplay over complex systems. It involves skill selection, reflex tests, strategic thinking, and elements of chance. Gathering materials, crafting, and managing resources are key aspects. The game emphasizes preparation before each stage.

Auto-Save: The game features an auto-save system, but saving isn't guaranteed during all events (e.g., battles). For reliable saves, exit the app from the base menu.
