Tarot Cards are among the riskiest Cursed Possessions in *Phasmophobia*, but their potential rewards are significant. For safety, use them in a secure location, such as near a hiding spot or the entrance. This allows for a quicker escape if you draw an unfavorable card, like Death.

Each card's effect is immediate. However, there's a chance you'll draw The Fool, a wildcard that yields no effect. You can draw up to 10 cards without sanity loss, and duplicates have the same effect as the original.

Ten unique cards exist within the deck:

The TowerDoubles ghost activity for 20 seconds20%
The Wheel of FortuneGains 25% sanity (green flame); loses 25% sanity (red flame)20%

What are Cursed Objects (Possessions) in Phasmophobia?

Cursed Possessions, or Cursed Objects, are unique items randomly spawning on any map (depending on difficulty and Challenge Mode). Unlike standard equipment, which aids investigation with minimal risk, Cursed Objects offer gameplay manipulation at a higher risk to your character.

The risk varies between objects. There's no penalty for ignoring them, but no bonus for using them. Only one spawns per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), always in a fixed location. For example, the Voodoo Doll always spawns in the Garage at 6 Tanglewood Drive. Seven Cursed Objects exist in the game: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.
