To begin creating patterns, click the Create a Cross Stitch Pattern button.
The Cross Stitch Pattern Editor will open. Fill grid squares with DMC floss colors.
You can even incorporate custom colors if desired.
Getting started - Use the pencil tool to fill squares in your pattern. Use the eraser to clear marked squares.
Choose from over 80 decorative stamps and borders to enhance your cross stitch pattern.
The button bar features these tools from left to right:
DMC Floss Color button - Select your preferred floss color
Save button - Store your pattern
Pencil button - Mark squares on your cross stitch pattern
Eraser button - Remove filled squares and backstitch lines
Backstitch button - First choose a color, then add backstitch lines to your pattern
Backstitch move button - Select and drag backstitches to new positions
Backstitch move stitch end - Select a backstitch to reveal blue endpoints, then reposition either end
Stamps button - Add small decorative cross stitch designs to your pattern
Borders button - Apply customizable borders that automatically wrap around your pattern
Dropper button - Sample colors from your pattern for consistent color matching
Bucket button - Fill selected areas with your currently chosen color
Bucket+ button - Replace existing colors with your current selection
Undo button - Reverse your most recent changes
Redo button - Restore changes you previously undid
Selection box button - Define pattern areas for cutting, copying, rotating, or flipping
Cut button - First select an area with the selection tool, then remove it
Copy button - First select an area with the selection tool, then copy it to clipboard
Paste button - Insert copied sections and position them as needed
Rotate button - Rotate selected areas or the entire pattern
Flip right/left button - Mirror selected areas or the complete pattern horizontally
Flip top/bottom button - Mirror selected areas or the complete pattern vertically
Zoom in button - Enlarge pattern view
Zoom out button - Reduce pattern view
Symbols button - Show unique symbols representing each color value
Picture button - Convert device images into cross stitch patterns
Social media button - Share patterns through email, text, and other platforms
Resize bars - Located at the bottom-right corner, drag to adjust pattern dimensions
Option settings - Customize grid colors, switch fill styles between Solid and X's,
hide row/column counters
Instruction page - View DMC color requirements and finished sizes for
various Aida Cloth counts
Finished Product page - Preview completed cross stitch appearance,
adjust fabric colors
