King Slime

While the King Slime may not pose a significant threat like other bosses, it's still a challenging encounter for low-level players. Note that defeating this boss does not yield soul points.

King Slime Location

The King Slime spawns after 100 Slimes are defeated on the server. It appears around the city nearest to where the last slime was killed, and a notification on the Quest Board alerts players of the active King Slime quest. The quest involves two steps:

  • Find the King Slime
  • Kill the King Slime

This quest has a 30-minute global cooldown on the server.

King Slime Fighting Strategy

With only 400 HP (600 HP if Corrupted), the King Slime is the least durable boss in Arcane Lineage. Its main tactic is summoning more Slimes to overwhelm your party, alongside various AOE poison attacks. Prepare with potions and cleansing abilities to counter its poison effects. After dealing with the summoned Slimes, you can defeat the King Slime in just a few turns.

  • Ferrus Skin Potion
  • Small Health Potion
  • Essence
  • Gold

Yar’thul, the Blazing Dragon

As a fire-type boss, Yar’thul unleashes Fire and Inferno-based attacks that inflict the Inferno and Burning effects on your party. With resistance to fire and physical damage, and a weakness to Hex damage, preparation is key to surviving this encounter.

Yar’thul Location

To confront Yar’thul, journey deep into the Desert to find Mount Thul, an active volcano formed by Yar’thul’s heat. Navigate through its dark corridors to reach the Blazing Dragon.

Yar’thul Fighting Strategy

With 1200 HP (1800 HP if Corrupted), Yar’thul compensates for its lower health with high damage output. Most of its attacks apply Inferno and Burning effects, making this a race against time. At 50% health, Yar’thul enters a second phase, summoning meteors that can stun and reduce healing. Focus on finishing the fight quickly to avoid being overwhelmed. The Dragon Ring and Pristine accessories can make this battle more manageable. Note that the Corrupted version gains lifesteal.

Thorian, the Rotten

Once an animal in the Deeproot Canopy, Thorian has become a corrupted abomination with multiple red eyes and tentacles. It curses all who encounter it and is resistant to most elements but heavily weak to Holy damage.

Thorian Location

Find Thorian in the deepest parts of the Cess Grounds within the Deeproot Canopy. Head to the right upon entering and continue in that direction to encounter this massive enemy.

Thorian Fighting Strategy

With 2,600 HP (3,900 HP if Corrupted), Thorian presents a complex fight due to its mechanics. It heals 150% of damage dealt if hit twice in a row with the same attack type, requiring varied attacks. Thorian is resistant to all damage types except Holy, which deals 135% damage, and slightly weak to fire, offering a 10% damage increase.

Metrom’s Vessel

Originally a hero, Metrom’s Vessel now serves as a host for Metrom, sealed in a Temporal Jail to contain its power. Despite the jail's weakening effect, Metrom’s Vessel remains a formidable challenge.

Metrom’s Vessel Location

As a Raid Boss, Metrom’s Vessel spawns on a global timer. You'll need a Void Key, obtainable from defeating corrupted versions of other bosses, to enter the fight. Watch for the server-wide notification announcing its spawn and location.

Metrom’s Vessel Fighting Strategy

With a staggering 10,000 HP (15,000 HP if Corrupted), Metrom’s Vessel is a true test of endurance. Its first phase features black wings that grant significant damage negation. Destroying these wings by applying status effects and debuffs is crucial, but be cautious as fewer wings increase its damage output.

Metrom’s Vessel also summons Shadeblades, which, despite their low 200 HP, deal substantial damage. Aim to defeat them quickly to avoid complications. The longer the first phase lasts, the higher the chance Metrom’s Vessel will use Oblivion, an undodgeable attack dealing 50% max HP damage to the entire party.

In the second phase, after the Temporal Jail shatters, the wings shift between Offensive and Defensive modes. Offensive mode increases damage output and enhances summoned minions, while Defensive mode boosts damage resistance and reflects damage via Thorns Aura. Continue to apply debuffs and status effects to manage the wings effectively. Additionally, failing to dodge attacks triggers a Shadebringer mini-attack.

To unlock Arkhaia, reach rank 20 in the Cult of Thanasius. Arkhaia has 7000 HP and a damage-over-time mechanic that can be tricky to manage. Defeating Arkhaia allows you to start a new character with the Inferion race, a powerful and rare starting race in Arcane Lineage.

To unlock Seraphon, reach rank 20 in the Church of Raphion. Seraphon has 4500 HP, and defeating it offers the chance to start a new character with the Sheea race, another powerful and rare starting race in Arcane Lineage.
