Marvel SNAP's initial Spotlight Cache card for 2025, Victoria Hand, is an Ongoing character that enhances cards generated within your hand. While often categorized as a card-generation archetype staple, Victoria Hand surprisingly excels in discard decks as well. This guide presents two robust Victoria Hand decks, one for each archetype, to help you integrate her into the current SNAP meta.
Victoria Hand (2–3)

The Best Deck for Victoria Hand
A card-generation deck featuring Devil Dinosaur is ideally suited for Victoria Hand. For optimal synergy, combine this duo with: Quinjet, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Cosmo, The Collector, Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl.

Iron Patriot, Mystique, and Speed can substitute for Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Frigga.
Victoria Hand Deck Synergies
- Victoria Hand boosts cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl are your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards for added buffs or disruption.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards, allowing you to play more.
- The Collector strengthens with each generated card.
- Cosmo serves as tech, protecting Devil Dino and Victoria Hand from enemy attacks.
- Devil Dino is your win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with multiple generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or those that change sides. Whether this is a bug or intended behavior remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when using Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
When playing a Victoria Hand deck:
- Balance card generation and energy management: Aim for a full hand for maximum Devil Dino growth, while also generating cards and utilizing Victoria's effect. Efficient energy use is crucial; sometimes skipping turns to maintain a full hand is more important than filling the board.
- Use joker cards strategically: Victoria Hand decks generate many random cards. Use these strategically as decoys to mislead your opponent.
- Protect your Ongoing lane: Opponents will likely target your Victoria Hand lane with tech cards like Enchantress. Counter this by playing Devil Dino and Victoria in the same lane (creating an Ongoing setup) and protecting them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also finding a place in refined discard decks. Pair her with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.

Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull is an effective counter to Victoria Hand. His synergy with Doctor Doom 2099 decks makes him a strong tech card regardless of whether the opponent uses Victoria Hand or Doom 2099.
Other counters include Shadow King (removes Victoria's buffs in one lane) and Enchantress (removes all Ongoing effects). Valkyrie can also disrupt power distribution in critical lanes.
Is Victoria Hand Worth It?
Victoria Hand is a valuable card. Whether acquired through the Spotlight Cache or purchased with Tokens, she offers a strong return on investment. While her effectiveness relies somewhat on RNG, her permanent buffs enable consistent deck building. Her compatibility with various archetypes (card-generation and discard) makes her a worthwhile addition for many players.
