ArtClash was created to help people build a daily habit of drawing, sketching, and cartooning.
It's currently in development, with the first game mode ready and more content coming soon.
You can freely draw anything you like, or select a topic—or a series of topics—and add optional challenges like a time limit, color restriction, or canvas size. Create your artwork, earn points when others guess it correctly!
This is a solo project, made for my wife and me to practice daily and inspire others to do the same.
Current Features:
• Paint – Sketch, blend, and paint with ease
• Import images to use as reference or paint directly over them
• Choose topics and constraints, draw your interpretation, and earn points for each correct guess
• Six difficulty levels for topics—ranging from single words to up to five nouns, verbs, places, or time periods
• Three optional constraints for bonus points: time limits, color limits, or canvas size limits
• Free drawing mode: create whatever you want and share it with the community
• NSFW flag option to control visibility of mature content from other users
Known Issues & Bugs in Early Access:
• Basic UI: The current Unity interface is limited. We plan to replace it with a more flexible and responsive XAML-based UI
• On lower-end devices, please keep canvas sizes under 1024x1024 for optimal performance. The GPU-accelerated brush engine may lag with large canvases and small brushes. We're testing optimizations and plan to improve speed in future updates.
Planned Features:
• Additional game modes (starting with a drawing "telephone" game)
• Enhanced social tools: customizable avatars, comments on projects or completed games, friend lists, and user following
• Improved UI and a faster, more responsive brush engine
• Marquee selection and transform tools
• More brush options—support for custom brush textures and user-generated brush sharing
• Advanced layer controls: transparent pixel locking, masking, and more
• Developer feedback system: submit feature requests, report bugs, and vote on upcoming changes
• Moderator roles: assigned users can help review flagged content and maintain community guidelines
• User-submitted topics and constraints: contribute your own ideas for community use after moderation
• Future goals: full image editing, animation support, scripting, and prototyping for games and storyboards
Due to current performance limitations with large textures and the absence of advanced editing tools, the app is not intended as a full image editing suite at this time. Instead, it is optimized for social engagement, creative challenges, and daily art practice.
