RuneScape has introduced a fresh skilling activity known as Heists, which officially goes live today. This new feature expands the Thieving skill from level 90 up to level 120. Players will engage in a series of infiltrations within secure facilities where every guard patrol, trap placement, and pickpocket attempt impacts success.
Now you can experience life as a master thief!
Heists function as solo runs that also allow you to observe how other players navigate the same dangerous zones. You can learn new techniques by watching nearby players slip past hazards or stumble into them.
Each run depends on core Thieving skills, ranging from basic pickpocketing to cracking open chests and safes. Rather than following a standard skilling rhythm, this mode requires players to sprint, stall, double back, and improvise as conditions shift around them.
The latest RuneScape update launches with two distinct Heists. The first is the Vault of Hereditas, located within a sealed wing of Kharid-et and patrolled by ghostly legionnaires roaming the halls. This location requires level 95 or 105 Thieving.
The second option is the Asuran Arsenal on the south-east stretch of Anachronia. It features a Dragonkin stockpile containing siege cannons once used by Kerapac to threaten Gielinor. This Heist is designed for thieves between levels 108 and 118.
Completing a Heist rewards players with XP, treasure, and exclusive items specific to the activity. New NPCs to pickpocket and chests to break into integrate seamlessly into daily skilling routines. RuneScape Heists also feature an overhaul of the chest system that adjusts the pacing for mid-intensity training.
