In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful
With the rapid advancement of technology—now an essential part of daily life—it has become imperative for custodians of knowledge and scholarship to embrace modernity and cultural globalization. This is especially vital to preserve their scientific and intellectual heritage, ensuring it remains accessible and widely available to the broadest possible audience.
At the Heritage Revival Center of al-Abbas's alternatives, we recognize the importance of this mission. This center stands as one of the most authoritative sources in its field, yet, despite its richness, its valuable content has not received the full attention it deserves in terms of comprehensive printing and publication. Although there have been individual efforts over the centuries to publish certain volumes—with careful editing by dedicated researchers—much of the work remains unverified and prone to errors.
Therefore, we have developed this valuable resource into an electronic application designed for specialists and all those interested in Islamic heritage. This app serves as a knowledge gateway for those seeking to explore the scholars of the true sect and understand the status of its prominent figures, enabling quick and efficient access with minimal effort.
The application includes the book in three distinct formats:
- Text format – Carefully aligned with the original publication for accuracy and readability.
- Digital scan – A faithful reproduction of the printed edition.
- Manuscript version – A unique and invaluable feature: the original handwritten manuscript by the author, may God have mercy on him. This allows researchers to verify suspected typographical errors, especially important given that most volumes were not thoroughly proofread, leaving room for inaccuracies.
Despite its simplicity, this application offers several powerful features designed to support scholarly research:
- Read each of the three versions independently.
- Search across the entire encyclopedia or within specific sections—using both basic and advanced search functions.
- Copy or share text excerpts with ease.
- Print pages in any of the three high-quality formats.
- Open two windows simultaneously—one showing the text and the other the printed or manuscript version—with independent zoom controls and synchronized page linking for seamless comparison.
- Access a comprehensive index of translators in each volume, as well as a unified index across the entire encyclopedia, all fully searchable.
- Bookmark any page in any of the three formats for quick future access.
- Add personal notes or comments to any page across all formats, stored securely within the app.
In conclusion, as we present this application to our esteemed users, we extend our deepest gratitude, appreciation, and praise to all who contributed to this noble endeavor. Special thanks to the eminent scholar of his time, Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani, may God have mercy on him, whose meticulous work in typesetting, verification, and initial printing laid the foundation for this project. We also thank those who preserved and shared the written copies—making them available to researchers through the publication of zakat al-ilm (the charity of knowledge)—and to our dedicated brothers who invested their time and effort in developing this application. May God reward them all with the best of rewards, befitting the doers of good.
