A social football manager simulation game
The Open League is a football (soccer) manager simulation deeply integrated with the Discord platform. Its core features include:
***Full 90-minute football/soccer matches are simulated nightly, with live play-by-play commentary streamed directly in our Discord server.
***You manage your football/soccer team within a server of 30 teams, organized into three competitive leagues. The top three clubs earn promotion, while the bottom three face relegation. Each competitive season spans three weeks.
***During the off-season, football/soccer teams attend a youth camp to recruit future legendary players. This weekend-long event allows managers to use scouting reports and bid on promising talent. Many of TOL's greatest team dynasties were built on successful youth camp campaigns.
***Football managers can also organize friendly matches against other human managers. The off-season is often used to set up tournaments and challenge other teams.
***Managers retain their teams at the end of each season. Players develop and decline over time, making squad management a crucial part of building a successful club.
***All player transfers are negotiated directly with other human managers on Discord before being finalized in the TOL app. Skilled dealmakers find great success here.
***TOL employs helpful Discord bots to assist with team management. For example, you can DM your assistant, Chris, to issue a press release about your latest victory to all other clubs!
The Open League supports multiple time zones. Matches are currently scheduled for 7:00 PM PST, EST, and GMT.
