Ik was niet van plan om deze week meer Pokémon -kaarten te kopen, maar toen zag ik dat de Scarlet & Violet - Stribling Sparks Booster Bundle nog steeds beschikbaar was op Amazon voor $ 45,02 na een groot deel van Pokémon TCG -producten. Met de Amazon Spring Sale in volle gang, is dit de perfecte tijd om enkele van deze hete sets te pakken voordat ze weg zijn. Mijn wilskracht verlamde sneller dan een basis van 60 pk tegenover een 390-schade Hydreigon Ex.
Mijn favoriete onderdeel van de stijgende vonken is de heerlijke chaos die het met zich meebrengt. Je hebt achtervolgingskaarten die het waard zijn om te beoordelen, zoals de $ 432 Pikachu ex speciale illustratie zeldzaam. Geen typefout hier - de elektrische muis is een krachtpatser zowel als een verzamelobject als in de strijd. Topaz Bolt kan bijna alles van het bord vegen, en Resolute Heart maakt het moeilijk om uit te schakelen.

Dan is er de Latias EX- en Latios -combinatie, die zijn als een romantische scène met hun verbonden kunstwerk. Latias is de zeldzamere en duurdere tweeling, die meer dan $ 200 kost. Ik denk dat de oudere broer of zus wordt geleverd met een hoger prijskaartje. Ondertussen poseert Milotic EX hier als een supermodel met zijn licht- en schaduweffecten, terwijl het ook een formidabele tegenaanval is aan Tera Pokémon.
Mijn persoonlijke favoriet? Ceruledge. Het geeft neon koorts dromen af, en ik bedoel dat als een compliment. Dit is de eerste keer dat de kaart waardevol is en ik geloof dat Illustrator Rond een applaus verdient - of op zijn minst een koffie. Ceruledge is misschien geen top-tier Pokémon in competitief spel, maar met deze kunst kan het me niets schelen.
Als u een verzamelaar bent, is de potentiële waarde reëel. Als je een speler bent, zijn sommige van deze kaarten game-changers op het slagveld. En als je gewoon geniet van glanzende dingen en de sensatie van gokken van $ 45 op karton, welkom dan bij de club. Ik heb al één doos geopend en ben er nu van overtuigd dat ik een andere "nodig heb" voor onderzoek.
De bundel wordt geleverd met zes boosterpakketten, dus je hebt geen grote hits gegarandeerd, maar met hoe snel mensen deze kopen, zou ik niet te lang wachten. Pikachu gaat zichzelf niet trekken.
