Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 brings back Compendium

Crashlands 2 Gets Major Update 1.1 With New Game Modes and Features

Crashlands 2 has just launched its first major update, version 1.1. Developer Butterscotch Shenanigans has addressed player requests from the original game while introducing fresh challenges and quality-of-life improvements.

What's New in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

The update introduces Legend Mode, ramping up difficulty beyond Challenge Mode. Woanope's enemies now attack faster, deal more damage, and boast enhanced health pools, while protagonist Flux Dabes becomes more vulnerable.

While no additional achievements are awarded for conquering Legend Mode, players automatically unlock all lower-difficulty achievements upon completion.

For more relaxed gameplay, Explorer Mode allows players to focus on farming, base-building, and fishing without constant combat threats. This peaceful option lets players immerse themselves in the story and enjoy the game's quirky characters at their own pace.

The most significant addition is the return of The Compendium, a comprehensive tracking system for all discovered items, pets, and recipes - directly addressing player feedback since launch.

Pet Combat Upgrades

Update 1.1 revamps pet mechanics, making them active combat participants with unique special abilities that recharge every 20 seconds.

Crafting receives depth with randomized bonus stats on armor pieces, alongside new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets. Players now enjoy greater building flexibility with expanded terrain options, customizable teleporter placement, and adjustable night darkness levels.

Available on Google Play since April 10th, this substantial update demonstrates the developers' commitment to player feedback. For similar gaming news, check our coverage of Lara Croft's upcoming appearance in Zen Pinball World with multiple Tomb Raider-themed tables.
