Battlefield 6 to Be Officially Revealed This Week

Author : Violet Jun 19,2026

After years of anticipation, EA is finally poised to officially unveil its next Battlefield title. The game appears to be titled Battlefield 6, with the first official trailer dropping this week on July 24 at 8am PT.

This news stems from a YouTube listing that appeared on the official Battlefield channel for a scheduled stream at that specific date and time. While the listing lacks additional details, it features official artwork depicting four soldiers surveying a battle in an urban environment, complete with ships, helicopters, aircraft, and more.

The wait for Battlefield 6 has been lengthy. It was initially announced back in 2021, primarily as EA confirmed development on new entries following the release of Battlefield 2042. Since then, we have seen early concept art and confirmation that the game will be set in a modern era.

Although the title is currently slated for release sometime before March 2026, EA CEO Andrew Wilson has suggested he may adjust the launch date based on competitor windows, such as GTA 6.

Over recent months, footage from closed playtests of Battlefield 6 began leaking online, showcasing its modern setting, intense firefights, destructible environments, quality-of-life improvements, and the beginning of a battle royale match.

EA has endured a challenging year, marked by multiple rounds of layoffs, an unpopular return-to-office mandate, and the cancellation of both upcoming titles like Cliffhanger's Black Panther and existing games such as Anthem.
