Old School RuneScape’s latest update plunges players into Great Kourend’s fiery depths, where a vengeful ancient force awakens. Yama, Master of Pacts, a flame-wreathed minotaur demon, now reigns in the Chasm of Fire, ready to challenge all comers.
For those who’ve conquered A Kingdom Divided and Royal Titans, the story continues. After facing Yama’s Judge in 2021, the true threat—a winged, horned beast wielding a massive two-handed axe—emerges alongside his fire-worshipping Disciples of Yama.
This battle demands high-level skills, completed quests, and top-tier gear. Solo or team up to take him down and unlock rewards like Demon Tallow for Surge Potions, Chasm of Fire Teleport Scroll, new Grimoire Pages, and more surprises.
The Chasm of Fire now includes a mining and smithing zone, where players can collect Crimson Lovakite to craft Oathplate, a powerful new armour set for late-game builds, making it a draw even for non-boss fighters.
