Microsoft has unveiled an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles set to join the service in the first half of April 2025, featuring a robust mix of first- and third-party games. The list includes eagerly anticipated titles like South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, among others.
According to a recent post on Xbox Wire, the month kicks off on April 3 with the addition of Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) across all Game Pass tiers. Joining it are All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X | S), and Wargroove 2 (Console), which will be accessible via Game Pass Standard. This initial wave promises to keep Xbox enthusiasts engaged throughout the month, but the excitement doesn't stop there. On April 8, subscribers can dive into South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC), available to all Game Pass members.
South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set in the Deep South and promises to be one of Xbox's most significant releases of the year. This modern folktale invites players to explore the mythos and confront mysterious creatures while harnessing an ancient power to overcome challenges and confront the pain haunting their hometown.The following days bring more additions: Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) on April 9 and Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) on April 10, both available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Rounding out the first wave of releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will be added on April 15 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
In addition to the new games, Xbox Game Pass perks are also being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Highlights include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and a special anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
