Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Morph Painting restoration involves correctly placing paintings onto designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator tool (accessible via Tab/D-Pad Left) to position it. The game usually auto-equips the Levitator, but manual selection is always an option. Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in the Resounding Rise tower (Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls), requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):
- Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Completing this arrangement reveals a chest, allowing quest progression.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
Located in the "Trial of Wisdom" (part of the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle, Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings to create a narrative sequence from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
