World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!
World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns running until February 24th. Get ready for a whirlwind tour through WoW's history, earning fantastic rewards along the way.
This extended event builds upon the successful five-week run from September 2023. Players can once again earn Timewarped Badges, a significant experience buff, and new rewards. Completing four Timewalking dungeons unlocks the Mastery of Timeways buff—a 20% experience boost—and achieving this for five out of the seven weeks grants the coveted Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and its prize: the charming Timely Buzzbee mount.
The Timewalking Adventure Awaits:
The seven-week journey begins with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and concludes with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. Each week features a different expansion's Timewalking content, including quests, dungeons, and raids.

- January 21-27: Legion
- January 28-February 3: Classic
- February 4-10: The Burning Crusade

Exclusive Rewards and More:
Timewalking vendors for each expansion boast permanent additions to their inventory, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously available only during the initial Turbulent Timeways, makes a welcome return. Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest rewards a Cache of Nerubian Treasures, which now grants Heroic gear during the event.
Looking Ahead:
With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and this new seven-week Turbulent Timeways, players will have enjoyed 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking! The event's conclusion on February 24th also hints at future plans. Given WoW's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the launch of Patch 11.1, Undermined, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. Coupled with the return of Plunderstorm and the upcoming War Within update, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for an action-packed start to 2025.
