World of Warcraft enthusiasts can continue their quest for the coveted Detective title even after the 20th anniversary event has concluded. The key to this ongoing adventure lies with Alyx, the Lightforged Draenei NPC, who has relocated to Dornogal. You can find Alyx near the hot springs northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, just before the stairs leading to the Foundation Hall. Here, Alyx dons a new title, "Volunteer Event Coordinator, Among Other Things," and continues to manage the mystery questline involving the missing Celebration Crates.
Alyx's board of clues in Dornogal provides the necessary hints to locate the 11 missing Celebration Crates scattered around the world. Players who are at least level 10 can start the quest for these crates, but they must reach level 68 to access Dornogal. By returning the crates to Alyx, players can earn various achievements. Turning in six crates will grant the Crate Insurance Agent achievement, while collecting all 11 will unlock No Crate Left Behind, Azeroth's Greatest Detective, and the prestigious Detective title.
The Detective title is crucial for those aiming to unlock the Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle mount. Previously, it was thought that players needed to earn the Azeroth's Greatest Detective achievement during the anniversary event to proceed with the Incognitro questline. However, by moving Alyx to Dornogal and allowing players to turn in Celebration Crates indefinitely, Blizzard ensures that no one is permanently locked out of this rare mount.
While the rest of the Guest Relations quests from the 20th anniversary are no longer accessible, as they were tied to the event's specific grounds, the relocation of Alyx keeps the Detective title within reach. Unfortunately, achievements such as Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager and I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats, along with their associated Thinking Cap transmogs, are now unobtainable. Though it seems unlikely that World of Warcraft will revive this storyline, the game may introduce alternative methods to earn similar rewards in the future.
