Jingle Hells, the holiday-themed map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduces unique progression mechanics. This guide details how to upgrade weapons, obtain Ammo Mods, and acquire equipment and Support.
Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies mode, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity tiers (color-coded). Using a higher-tier Aether Tool upgrades your weapon to that tier (e.g., a Purple/Legendary Aether Tool grants Legendary rarity). Here's how to obtain Aether Tools:
- Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop provides loot, including Aether Tools. Higher rounds yield higher rarity tools.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, especially at higher reward tiers, offers a chance to obtain Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrades your weapon to Legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the round progresses.
Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, only the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is available in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily found within Holiday Presents. The rarity of items within Holiday Presents increases with higher rounds. Holiday Presents are obtained in several ways:
- Enemy Kills: Killing enemies occasionally drops Holiday Presents.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: This power-up yields either multiple Holiday Presents ("Nice") or spawns numerous vermin enemies ("Naughty").
- S.A.M. Machine: When active, the S.A.M. Machine spawns Holiday Presents nearby.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, preventing Salvage-based equipment crafting. However, equipment and Support items (like Chopper Gunners, etc.) can be acquired through:
- Enemy Kills: Killing enemies, especially Special and Elite enemies, can drop equipment and Support items.
- Holiday Presents: These can contain equipment.
- S.A.M. Trials: These offer a chance to reward equipment and Support.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: These may contain equipment and Support.
