Nintendo is set to delight fans by adding the beloved Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4, to the Nintendo Switch Online library on February 14. This exciting addition was announced with a captivating trailer and will be available at no extra cost to users who have a Nintendo Switch Online membership and have purchased the Expansion Pass.
"The misguided Wario is back, and this time he's in search of riches," reads the official synopsis. "Ignoring all warning signs, Wario decides to enter a cursed pyramid rumored to house a bunch of gold and jewels. Our anti-hero quickly learns that the curse is no joke, realizing that he'll be lucky to escape alive."

In this thrilling adventure, players will navigate through 20 massive stages, collecting gold and treasure which can be used to purchase bonus items after each stage. Additionally, players can enjoy a variety of delightful mini-games for a well-deserved break from the main quest.
Upon its initial release in 2001, Wario Land 4 received widespread acclaim, earning a 9/10 from IGN. The review praised the game for its variety in design and increased challenge, noting that "there's a lot of variety in the game design and it's more challenging than the usual side-scrolling fare due to its focus on making players figure out how to get to certain locations in the level."
Wario Land 4 marks the 24th Game Boy Advance game to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online library, joining other classics such as Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
