Warframe: 1999’s Y2K-infused action gets a major boost this March with the Techrot Encore update. Digital Extremes’ recent devstream revealed a massive content drop, including the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple, along with four brand-new Protoframes. But that’s not all!
This update introduces the Technocyte Coda, a new addition to the Lich adversary system. Fans of the pre-launch ARG will recognize them as the boy band On-Lyne, who've traded their pop star image for a decidedly more lethal persona.
Prepare for battle with four new Scaldra weapons, offering expanded combat options. Love is in the air (or maybe just cybernetic enhancements) with updates to the Romance & Relationships system. A new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin and the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe round out the impressive additions.
The unique Y2K aesthetic of Warframe: 1999 is undeniably captivating, and the "boy band turned cybernetic monstrosity" enemies are just the cherry on top. But the fun doesn’t stop there!
Before the March update arrives, players can enjoy the return of the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast (starting February 6th), along with new skins and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering even more rewards.
