World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Introduces Subtle Character Height Customization
World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, Undermined, introduces a pair of new consumable potions offering temporary character height adjustments. These Noggenfogger Select elixirs (UP and DOWN) provide a subtle, stackable height change (up to 10 times), lasting 30 minutes and persisting through death. This offers players a convenient, inexpensive method for character customization, ideal for roleplaying, screenshots, or even in-game events.
The potions are available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the Steemwheedle Cartel reputation hub in the new Undermine zone, for a cost of just over three gold each. They are neither level-locked nor bound, allowing easy trading between characters.
Unlike more dramatic size-altering items like the Elixir of Giant Growth, the Noggenfogger Select potions offer a nuanced approach to height modification. Even at maximum stacks, the height change remains relatively subtle, as demonstrated in screenshots.
Furthermore, Alchemist Pestlezugg also offers Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-exclusive potion enabling the use of a unique lean emote, currently unavailable to other races.
While many players welcome this addition, the desire for a permanent height slider remains. Until a major character customization update is implemented, these potions, along with existing items like the Seabed Leviathan's Citrine and Colossus Warrior forms, provide the most effective means of controlling character height in World of Warcraft.
Patch 11.1 also includes significant story developments for The War Within and visual updates for various classes, adding further excitement to the update.
