Unlock All BlazBlue Entropy Effect Characters: Guide

Author : Sophia Apr 26,2025

Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* is a unique challenge, as it requires collecting items known as Prototype Analyzers. These are essential for unlocking every new character in the game, with the exception of DLC characters, which are available for purchase. Our comprehensive guide delves into how you can acquire Prototype Analyzers and provides a detailed list of all playable characters.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters

Your journey to unlock characters begins right after completing the tutorial, where you receive your first Prototype Analyzer. Follow the path to the right of the Acer Program room, leading you to a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose your desired character.

For subsequent character unlocks, return to this room and interact with the platform using additional Prototype Analyzers. Note that DLC characters such as Rachel and Hazama, available as of March 2025, are automatically unlocked upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers

*Entropy Effect* offers several methods to earn more Prototype Analyzers, though patience is key.

Progress the story: Advancing through the game's narrative and completing training missions will unlock gray skills, with Prototype Analyzers awarded at specific milestones: unlocking 10, 20, and 40 gray skills. Additionally, a key event later in the story grants you another Analyzer. Note that unlocking green skills via Potential does not contribute to earning Prototype Analyzers. As it stands, you can obtain up to three Analyzers through this method unless developer 91Act introduces more skills or alternative ways to earn them via story quests.

Complete Mind Challenges and spend AP: Another avenue is through the Mind Challenge mode. After accumulating points, speak to the janitor to exchange 5,000 AP for a Prototype Analyzer. This method is not frequent, so plan accordingly.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters

As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features 12 characters, with 10 available in the base game and two additional characters as paid DLC. Here's an overview of each character you can unlock using Prototype Analyzers, excluding the two DLC characters:

Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Ragna is a melee fighter with a unique twist, excelling in close-range combat while gaining power as his HP decreases. His special ability allows him to sacrifice health for buffs, then regain some by siphoning from his opponents.

Jin Kisaragi

Jin from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Jin, another melee specialist, focuses on sophisticated sword techniques and ice-based skills. He can freeze enemies, and well-timed combos provide significant strength boosts and super speed.

Noel Vermillion

Noel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Noel is a master of ranged combat, capable of launching missiles in any direction and shortening skill cooldowns. Her Over-Exhaust ability allows continuous skill use even after her MP depletes.

Taokaka

Taokaka from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

While Taokaka may struggle against heavily armored foes, her versatility in building and her Spinny Spinny attack's ability to apply multiple status effects make her highly adaptable.

Hakumen

Hakumen from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hakumen is the quintessential tank, slow yet powerful, excelling at enduring enemy attacks and delivering devastating blows. His ability to counter at reduced MP costs after blocking and midair attacks make him a formidable force.

Lambda-11

Lamda-11 from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Lambda-11 is a versatile fighter, proficient in both close and long-range combat. Her skills continue to damage enemies even without direct engagement, making her suitable for any combat scenario.

Kokonoe

Kokonoe from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Kokonoe may be considered one of the weaker characters due to her reliance on careful management of lasers and crowd control. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she can be highly effective.

Hibiki Kohaku

Hibiki from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hibiki excels at evasion and crowd control, making him a valuable asset despite not being the most powerful. His ability to avoid enemy attacks is a significant advantage.

Es

Es from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Es is remarkably powerful even without unlocking potentials. With abilities to counter after dodging, execute mid-air combos, and control crowds, she's a well-rounded fighter.

Mai Natsume

Mai from BlazBlue Entropy effect

Mai has a high skill ceiling, requiring mastery of her combo system. Her Heavy Attack and mobility-focused combos offer high damage potential once understood.

Rachel Alucard (DLC)

Rachel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Rachel is incredibly powerful, with fast movements and the ability to reset her dodge moves. Her wide-ranging abilities, including a nearly unevadable stun attack, make her a top choice for players.

Hazama (DLC)

Hazama from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hazama demands strategic play due to his complex, input-heavy moves. Mastering his skills comes with a steep learning curve, but he's among the game's strongest characters once you do.
