Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location
Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch location isn't enough; you must first open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether nexus.
Find the Doorway to Nowhere in the Subterranean Temple. Progress through the map, opening doors until you reach the Temple. At the altar, interact with the Amulet (you start with it). The Doorway will open, granting access to the Dark Aether Nexus.
The Pack-a-Punch machine initially resides within the Dark Aether Nexus, near the center. However, its location changes.
Locating the Pack-a-Punch: Multiple Locations and Tracking Methods
The Pack-a-Punch machine has two possible locations in The Tomb. Its first location is always within the Dark Aether Nexus. Its alternate location is the Roman Mausoleum, an ornate ruin at the top of the Dig Site.
To determine its current location:
- Consult your Tac-Map: The main map and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't on one map, it's on the other.
- Observe the stone slab: A stone slab with illuminated areas indicates the Pack-a-Punch's location. If the symbol is on the main map area, head there. If it's on a separate island, it's in the Dark Aether Nexus.
