Unlock the AEK-973 Full Auto Mod in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973 marksman rifle, transforming a previously underpowered weapon. This guide details how to unlock this attachment.
This limited-time attachment is obtainable during The Terminator event, running until February 20th. Post-event, it's anticipated to be available through the Armory Unlocks system.
To unlock the Full Auto mod, you'll need to collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by:
- Multiplayer and Zombies: Eliminating enemies in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies modes has a chance to drop Skulls.
- Warzone: Opening loot caches in Warzone yields a chance at Skull drops.
Fastest Skull Farming Methods:
- Zombies (Round 6 Method): Play Zombies with the Rampage Inducer, reaching Round 6 then quitting. Repeat this process for efficient Skull acquisition.
- Warzone Resurgence Solos: Focus on rapidly opening loot caches in Resurgence Solos matches.
Once you've accumulated 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod in the event tab.
Full Auto Mod Functionality:
This attachment converts the AEK-973 from burst fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It's compatible with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.
While the Full Auto mod reduces the AEK-973's damage and range, its increased rate of fire maintains a competitive time-to-kill. However, the weapon's handling remains unchanged, meaning it's best utilized at medium to long ranges or with attachments to improve its handling and mobility.
