Uncharted Waters Origin's latest update, "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," introduces a challenging new PvE event, a fresh S-grade Admiral, and several new crew members. This update also includes a new Mate Growth system and special attendance event, all available for a limited time.
The Lighthouse of the Ruins: A Recurring Monthly Challenge
This new PvE challenge consists of ascending through multiple levels, battling enemies, and collecting rewards such as Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. Successful completion of certain levels yields significant rewards. The event resets monthly, allowing players to retain half their previous progress, preventing a complete restart each time. Each attempt costs 10 energy, with 8 energy refunded upon failure. However, redo items are not permitted, and rank rewards are awarded only once per month.
New Admiral and Crew Members
William Adams, a renowned English navigator, joins the game as a new S-grade Admiral. His story, arriving in Japan aboard the Liefde, adds a compelling historical element. The update also introduces new Mates: Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani (normal Mates), and Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru (Employee Mates).
Transcendence: Enhanced Mate Growth
A new Mate Growth system, "Transcendence," unlocks after maximizing a Mate's Premium Training, granting them an additional Effect slot. The required Tome of Transcendence can be obtained from The Lighthouse of the Ruins, Arctic Waters Land Training, and a smuggling ring assistant captain in Cape Town.
Combat Support Special Attendance Event
Running until November 5th, the Combat Support Special Attendance Event provides players with substantial rewards simply for logging in. These rewards include 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and equipment such as the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung.
