Arise Crossover might seem simple at first glance: collect Shadow units, attack defenseless enemies, and power up your team. But even experienced players can get lost navigating the leveling system, optimal Shadow choices, and overall progression. This guide is for those feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Each of Arise Crossover's three islands offers various recruitable Shadows, including a powerful dungeon boss per island. Currently, Soondoo (early game) is the weakest unit, while Mifalcon (found on Brum Island) is the strongest. However, rank matters more than unit type. A Rank A Soondoo significantly outperforms a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units achieve far greater levels; a Rank D maxes at Level 75, whereas an SS unit reaches Level 200. The ultimate goal is a team of four level 200 Mifalcons, but the journey is half the fun!

Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide

Dungeon portals appear every 30 minutes, lasting 15 minutes. Even joining a dungeon seconds before closure allows full completion. Portals spawn randomly across each island at varying difficulty ranks. Begin with a team of Rank D units and tackle Rank D or C dungeons on Leveling Island. This provides a solid unit base and a chance at rare Shadow units. Dungeons are the primary means of recruiting rare and higher-ranked (above C) common units.

Whenever a portal spawns, join! Even without a strong team, waiting near a portal often attracts higher-level players willing to assist. Many players can solo dungeons and are generally happy to help lower-level players. Accept this help to acquire higher-ranked units. Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is key to progression in Arise Crossover. We even progressed to the endgame with a few Rank A units after a kind player took us through a Rank A dungeon. Pay it forward!
Arise Crossover Weapons

Currently (Beta), player weapons are largely ineffective. While useful early on, their impact diminishes significantly as you progress. The Iron Kando Blade, the strongest common weapon, costs 60m and deals 516.1K damage—insignificant compared to the millions dealt by late-game units. Save your resources unless you have excess currency.
How to get a mount in Arise Crossover

Similar to dungeons, a wild mount spawns every 15 minutes, claimable by only one player per server. A server-wide message announces spawns, but not always captures or disappearances. Six potential spawn locations exist: one on each main island's back and one on each small island between major islands (consult the developer's map). Each mount is claimable only once. Flying mounts are rarest (approximately 10% spawn rate), ground mounts are frequent, and water mounts are available from the Boat Shop NPC.

While not essential for progression, mounts, especially flying mounts, greatly improve travel. Keep an eye out for the server message and check all six locations. We're still hunting that elusive flying mount! This guide will be updated with future game updates. Meanwhile, check out the Arise Crossover codes for some free goodies.
