This month, the mobile 4X strategy game, The Battle of Polytopia, will make esports history with its first-ever Tesla-exclusive tournament. Two Tesla owners will compete head-to-head at the OWN Valencia digital entertainment event in Spain, utilizing their vehicles' built-in entertainment systems.
This isn't as unusual as it might seem. The Battle of Polytopia is a known favorite of Tesla CEO Elon Musk. While Musk's popularity has fluctuated, a dedicated community of Tesla enthusiasts remains.
The tournament will be hosted by Spanish gaming personalities Revol Aimar and BaleGG, directly on the Tesla's touchscreen interface. Tesla's in-car entertainment system is well-known for its extensive mobile game library.
An Electrifying Event
While this likely won't trigger a widespread esports revolution within Teslas, it's certainly a noteworthy event. The exclusive nature of Tesla ownership often fosters a strong sense of community, similar to that seen among classic car enthusiasts.
