Nightdive Studios has revealed that the updated version of the 1999 sci-fi horror RPG, initially titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, will now launch as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This remastered edition is expanding its reach to include the Nintendo Switch.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will soon be available on Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Nightdive Studios announced that a release date and a new trailer will be unveiled during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
