Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting event for players around the world. Starting May 12th, you'll embark on a thrilling globe-trotting marathon with Subway Surfers.
The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!
The celebration kicks off in Copenhagen, the birthplace of Subway Surfers. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content to the Danish capital and introduces a new daily city-hopping challenge. You'll have the chance to run through not only Copenhagen but also unlock up to 21 other iconic cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To journey through these diverse destinations, you'll need to collect World Tour suitcase tokens at each location to unlock the next one.
This update marks the 200th destination in Subway Surfers' World Tour series, which has been showcasing global cities since 2013. Currently, the game is in Osaka, celebrating Golden Week with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. New characters Saru and Oni Hime are making their debut in Osaka. Saru is available through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime can be obtained via a special offer. Additionally, new social features such as Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced. Gear Up for the Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary
Originally launched on May 23rd, 2012, Subway Surfers has grown to boast 150 million monthly players and over four billion downloads worldwide. As it marks its 13th anniversary, the game continues to connect players globally through its depiction of local scenery across 199 cities.
