Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is underway, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt. But one seemingly simple task—studying a Historical Display—is proving surprisingly tricky for some. Here's how to overcome this obstacle.
This week's quest requires you to study a Historical Display in a museum. Longtime players will know where to find their local museum, but newcomers should open their map and look for the pillar icon. While four museums exist in the base game, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other Blast from the Past tasks.
How to Study a Historical Display
Once you arrive at a museum, enter and locate a painting or sculpture (both count as Historical Displays). Click on the item and select "View." The completion of the challenge will be indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Despite the task's simplicity, many players report encountering issues. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" option from appearing. Some players have even tried removing all mods, but the problem persists. Hopefully, EA will address this soon. Until then, try examining multiple items in different museums.
