The PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, accompanied by a suite of PC-specific features, as revealed by a trailer that Sony accidentally leaked on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Although the trailer was promptly removed, it was captured and shared widely across the internet, and we anticipate its official release soon.

This announcement follows more than a year after the game's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

Stellar Blade on PC comes equipped with expected features such as AI upscaling via Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, Japanese and Chinese voiceover options, ultrawide display support, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense support for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

The trailer showcased a new boss battle against Mann, the Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. Additionally, a new scene featuring Eve releasing a memory stick at the trailer's end has sparked speculation about a new ending or potential DLC.

The trailer confirms the Stellar Blade Complete Edition's release for both PC and PS5. Developed by the Korean studio Shift Up, Stellar Blade was a significant success, generating $43 million in royalties in its last financial year. The company anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 edition, which sold over 1 million copies within two months. Shift Up is also considering developing another game in the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players control Eve as she fights against unknown invaders to reclaim Earth in a fast-paced action role-playing game. The game received a 7/10 from IGN, selling a million copies quickly. IGN's review noted, "Stellar Blade excels in the most crucial aspects of an action game, but its dull characters, lackluster story, and some frustrating RPG mechanics keep it from reaching the pinnacle of the genre."
