Star Wars Celebration recently unveiled exciting news for fans, announcing that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will premiere on October 29, 2025. This latest volume will include nine captivating short films crafted by a variety of acclaimed Japanese anime studios, such as Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (behind Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.

A significant highlight from the announcement is that three of these episodes will continue storylines from previous volumes. These include Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema citrus Co.'s The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi.
Adding to the excitement, a new spin-off series is in development, focusing on expanding the narrative from The Ninth Jedi. Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director behind The Ninth Jedi, shared at Star Wars Celebration that the character Kara's journey will be further explored in this series. This will provide fans with longer, more in-depth stories from the expansive Star Wars: Visions universe.
In Volume 3, fans can look forward to seeing Kara alongside Juro in the episode titled 'Child of Hope'.
