In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, engaging with NPCs can lead to unique quests, such as the Joke quest initiated by Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village. This quest stands out as it involves helping Lyonchyk become part of a group of stalkers through humor. Players focused solely on main missions might overlook this interaction, so here’s a guide on how to find and complete the Joke quest in the Rookie Village.
How to Complete the Joke Quest from Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village
To start, locate Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village within the Cordon region of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. As you approach the center of the village, Lyonchyk will call out to Skif, initiating a conversation where he attempts to share a joke but fails. This leads to his request for Skif's help in delivering a joke to a group of stalkers by the bonfire, aiming to be invited into their circle and make new friends. Agreeing to assist him will officially start the quest.
Help Lyonchyk Sprat Tell a Joke
Once the quest begins, Lyonchyk instructs Skif to climb to the attic of a nearby house and wait for his signal. Turn around from Lyonchyk, and you'll see a ladder leading to the attic right next to the bonfire. Ascend the ladder and position yourself on the attic to move the quest forward.
At this point, players are presented with various joke options, each eliciting a different reaction from the audience. Regardless of the choice made, Lyonchyk will successfully deliver the joke, and the quest will be marked as completed.
Receiving Reward from Lyonchyk
After the successful delivery of the joke, descend from the attic and meet Lyonchyk Sprat at his original spot. He will express his gratitude for helping him join the stalker circle and reward Skif with 900 coupons.
However, if players choose not to assist and let Lyonchyk attempt the joke alone, the quest will fail. In this scenario, Lyonchyk will flee from the bonfire group, retreating to a house to cry and blame Skif for abandoning him.
