Squad Busters is expanding its universe with an exciting new collaboration that will catch players by surprise. Sega's legendary Sonic the Hedgehog will join the game on June 17th as a brand-new hero, bringing Tails and Knuckles along as his squad members.
True to his character, Sonic brings incredible speed and the power of his Super Sonic form for temporary invincibility. Using Turbo recharges this ability, and Sonic enhances Speedster Squad members by boosting their capabilities even further.
Tails and Knuckles complete the team, with Tails piloting his Cyclone Walker equipped with a powerful laser cannon. Knuckles utilizes his signature strength, smashing through obstacles while digging underground to avoid damage before emerging beneath enemies to strike.
Time to go fast!
To unlock these three characters, participate in the new event beginning June 17th and collect rings from battles, the shop, and daily rewards. Earning enough rings will first unlock Sonic, whose Hero Journey then provides additional rings to obtain Knuckles and Tails. Each character features their own evolution paths.
No Sonic appearance would be complete without his arch-nemesis, Dr. Eggman, who appears in the new Dr. Eggman Attacks game modifier. This mode not only offers extra rings but features Eggman patrolling the map in his Egg Mobile, confronting heroes and even transforming into the powerful Death Egg Robot.
