- Search for "Splitgate 2".
- Download the Crossplay Alpha Test.
What Awaits You:
According to 1047 Games' Lead Writer, Nate Dern, the Open Alpha boasts crossplay functionality and a brand-new 24-player mode: Multi-Team Portal Warfare. This mode pits three teams of eight against each other on Splitgate's largest map yet. Expect new weapons, perks, equipment, and the signature chaotic gameplay.
The core portal mechanics that defined the original Splitgate remain central. New classes (or factions) with unique abilities will also be featured. Dern emphasizes that player feedback has significantly shaped the game's development.
