Spawn Joins Mortal Kombat Mobile Roster

Author : Nicholas Jan 16,2025

Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn!

This McFarlane-created anti-hero returns, based on his Mortal Kombat 11 design. He'll soon be joined by MK1 Kenshi, and this update boasts three new Friendship finishers and a Brutality.

Mortal Kombat Mobile, the popular mobile fighting game, gets a major boost with the addition of Spawn, alongside a classic version of Kenshi.

Spawn, aka Al Simmons, is a murdered soldier who bargains with the Devil to return to Earth as a vigilante. His potent supernatural abilities make him a potential harbinger of the Apocalypse.

Spawn, a 90s icon (though his creation predates that decade), is a flagship character from Image Comics and a highly sought-after guest character in the Mortal Kombat franchise, having previously appeared in Mortal Kombat 11.

A Hellspawn-Sized Update

The arrival of this new Spawn version, alongside a fresh take on Kenshi, is sure to excite fans, even those who might typically overlook mobile versions of their favorite fighting games.

Spawn, modeled after his Mortal Kombat 11 appearance, is now available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. The update includes three new Friendship finishers, a Brutality, and challenging new Hellspawn dungeons. Download it now on the iOS App Store and Google Play!

A Bittersweet Note:

Just before publication, news broke of the alleged dismissal of the entire Netherrealm Studios mobile team. Sadly, Spawn's addition may mark the end of an era for this team.
