Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is set to make a splash at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, marking their first appearance in the General Exhibit in four years. The official TGS website has confirmed Sony's participation among the 731 exhibitors, which collectively will occupy 3190 booths. Sony's presence will span across Halls 1 to 8, joining other major publishers like Capcom and Konami. Although Sony did participate in the 2023 Tokyo Game Show, their involvement was limited to the Demo Play area for indie game releases. This year, fans can look forward to seeing Sony in the heart of the action.

As of now, the specifics of Sony's exhibit remain under wraps. Following their State of Play presentation in May, where they announced several 2024 game launches, many of these titles will likely be available by the time TGS rolls around. Additionally, Sony's recent financial reports indicate that they have "no plans to release any new major existing franchise titles" before April 2025, leaving fans curious about what Sony will showcase.
