The beloved adult animated series, Solar Opposites, is gearing up for its sixth and final season. Hulu made the announcement today, revealing that fans can expect the last installment to premiere sometime in the final quarter of 2025.
Back in mid-2024, the show was renewed for a sixth season, but at the time, there was no indication that this would be the concluding chapter of the series.
Since its debut in 2020, Solar Opposites has captured audiences with its unique blend of humor and storytelling. The show follows the misadventures of an alien family who crash-land on Earth following the destruction of their home planet. Created by Star Trek: Lower Decks mastermind Mike McMahan and Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, the series took a significant turn in 2023 when Roiland was removed following domestic violence charges, which were subsequently dropped.
Despite this, the show seamlessly transitioned with English actor Dan Stevens stepping in to voice the lead role, ensuring that Solar Opposites continued to deliver the high-quality content fans have come to love.
