Author : Mila May 12,2025

Developer Tyler has just released the 0.3.4 update for the highly acclaimed drug dealer simulator, Schedule I, following a brief testing period. The update, detailed in the Steam patch notes, marks the first major content expansion since the game's explosive early access launch on March 24. Players can now explore new features such as a fully operational pawn shop, a boutique store, and various wall decorations.

In a post on Steam, Tyler expressed regret for the delay in the update's release, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He assured fans that future updates would run smoother and be more punctual, with larger monthly updates starting next month.

Looking ahead, Tyler outlined his priorities, which include resolving remaining bugs, ensuring consistent employee performance, preventing save game corruption, and reducing multiplayer disconnections and loading issues. He's also focused on optimizing the game and aiming to get Schedule I verified for Steam Deck, which he plans to use as a performance benchmark.

For those looking to dive deeper into the game, check out IGN's Schedule I guide, which covers everything from basics of mixing recipes and creating new blends to maximize profit, to accessing console commands, and the fastest way to engage in multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

Schedule I skyrocketed to the top of Steam's sales charts upon its launch, outpacing heavyweights like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, thanks to its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time drug dealers and work their way up to become kingpins, managing the production and distribution of various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie studio led by Tyler, Schedule I's launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler shared his astonishment on Reddit, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
