Diving into the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, a cooperative horror game that challenges up to six players to navigate physics-based environments, retrieve valuables, and escape safely, can be a blast. However, the last thing you want is to lose all your progress due to not knowing how to save your game. Here's a detailed guide on how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.* and ensure your hard work is preserved.

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

One of the most disheartening experiences in gaming is realizing your progress hasn't been saved. This can be particularly frustrating with new games like *R.E.P.O.* that might not have clear instructions or autosave features in all situations. It's crucial to understand the saving mechanics to avoid starting from scratch.

In *R.E.P.O.*, the key to saving your game lies in completing levels. The game does not offer a manual save option. If you quit during a retrieval mission or die, sending you to the Disposal Arena, your progress will be lost. You'll need to start that level over again. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and leaving mid-level means you'll return to the start of that level.

To save your game successfully, you must complete the level by reaching the Extraction Point with your valuables. Once there, enter the truck or navigate back to it, and press the message button above your head to signal the Taxman, your AI boss, that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can engage in shopping or other activities, and then use the same button to proceed to the next level.

After leaving the Service Station and arriving at your new location, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. The next time you or the host (if another player created the save file) starts the game, you can continue from where you left off. Remember, if you're playing with a host, it's their responsibility to exit the game correctly to ensure the save is preserved. Once the host quits, all other players will be disconnected.
