Pokémon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat with the weekly Spotlight Hour event, which occurs every Tuesday and features a different Pokémon each week. This guide focuses on the Roselia Spotlight Hour, offering players a chance to snag this Grass and Poison-type Pokémon, along with the possibility of encountering its Shiny version.

During the Spotlight Hour, players can earn rewards and collect bonus candies by transferring extra Roselia, which can help evolve it into its final form, Roserade. This event not only boosts your Pokémon collection but also offers a great opportunity to gain experience points quickly.

Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide

The Roselia Spotlight Hour is scheduled for January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. To make the most of this event, players should stock up on berries, Pokéballs, and incense. The featured Pokémon for this week is Roselia, and players will benefit from a x2 Catch XP bonus, making it an excellent time to level up.

Roselia, known as Pokémon #0315 from the Hoenn region in Generation 3, boasts a maximum Combat Power of 2114 CP, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense. It evolves from Budew to Roselia with 25 Candies, and then to Roserade with 100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone. Catching Roselia rewards players with three candies and 100 Stardust.

In Pokémon GO, Roselia can be traded and transferred to Pokémon Home. As a Grass and Poison-type, it is vulnerable to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks, taking 160% more damage. Conversely, it resists Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks, receiving 63% less damage, and Grass-type attacks are reduced by 39%. The optimal moveset for Roselia is Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb, delivering 10.96 DPS and 99.91 TDO, with performance enhanced in Cloudy Weather.

A Shiny version of Roselia is available during the Spotlight Hour. To increase your chances of encountering a Shiny Roselia, use incense and berries to ensure a successful catch. The Shiny Roselia features a vibrant green body with purple and black roses, making it a striking addition to any collection.
