TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title combines the turn-based combat of the original with roguelite elements, promising endless replayability. The Steam page boasts 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is free-to-play on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release aligns with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds compelling – the Steam screenshots suggest it's ideal for short bursts of play. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS.
What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
