Embarking on the second set of challenges in *Marvel Rivals* for Midnight Features II, you'll find yourself in the paws of Squirrel Girl, tackling various tasks. One task, however, stands out as a bit more complex: rescuing Ratatoskr in Central Park. Let's dive into who Ratatoskr is and how you can accomplish this feat.
Who Is Ratatoskr in Marvel Rivals?
To successfully navigate the Midnight Features II challenges and earn your well-deserved rewards, you'll need to get acquainted with Ratatoskr. Contrary to the rumors swirling around New York about Squirrel Girl morphing into a monstrous entity, Ratatoskr is actually an Asgardian beast in the guise of a squirrel. Historically, she served as a messenger among the Asgardians, but her penchant for escaping and causing chaos is well-known. Now, Ratatoskr finds herself trapped in the Dracula-controlled streets of New York, in desperate need of rescue. It's your mission to free her, and understanding her background is crucial to your success.
How to Rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in Marvel Rivals
Central Park serves as the exclusive map for Season 1.5, much like Midtown did at the beginning of Season 1. Unlike other maps in Quick Match and Competitive modes, which are randomly selected, Central Park can be chosen at will. However, rescuing Ratatoskr five times quickly will require a bit of luck.
When playing on Central Park, you'll spot a giant squirrel chained in the center of the map, regardless of whether you're on the attacking or defending team. This is Ratatoskr, and to free her, you must be on the attacking side. Central Park operates similarly to other Convoy maps, meaning you and your team need to reach Ratatoskr's location and fill the progress bars until she's liberated. But the mission doesn't end there; you must then escort her across the map to secure victory.
Completing this challenge will take persistence, as there's no guaranteed way to always end up on the attacking team. You'll need to play Central Park repeatedly until you've successfully freed Ratatoskr five times. Keep in mind that the Central Park mode and the Midnight Features II challenges are available for a limited time, so don't delay. Fortunately, you can also work on other Midnight Features III quests while you're at it.
