Potential Pokemon Legends: Z-A Release Date Leaks Online

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – August 2025 Release Date Leak

Rumors suggest Pokémon Legends: Z-A may launch on August 15, 2025, following a brief listing on Amazon UK in early January 2025. This aligns with The Pokémon Company's previously stated 2025 release window.

Officially announced during the February 2024 Pokémon Day celebration, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is anticipated as a sequel to the exploration-focused Pokémon Legends: Arceus (2022). Unlike previous entries, Arceus prioritized open-world exploration and Pokémon collection over traditional gym battles and the Pokémon League. Details regarding Z-A remain scarce since its initial reveal.

The Amazon UK leak, initially reported by content creator Light88, quickly vanished, reverting to a December 31 placeholder. However, the August 15th date fits the expected release timeframe.

February 2025 Confirmation Possible

The official release date might be revealed during the 2025 Pokémon Day celebration on February 27th, mirroring the announcement of the original game. Evidence from a recent Pokémon GO data mine supports this February 27th date.

Beyond the release date, fans eagerly await a gameplay reveal, potentially debuting at the same event. Pokémon Legends: Z-A, initially confirmed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, will also be playable on the upcoming Switch 2, thanks to confirmed backward compatibility. While past mainline Pokémon titles have included paid DLC, Pokémon Legends: Arceus only received one free post-launch update, "Daybreak."
