Polytopia

Midjiwan has unleashed a massive update for The Battle of Polytopia: a complete overhaul of the Aquarion Tribe! This first special tribe, originally introduced in 2017, receives a stunning transformation.

Aquarion's Aquatic Awakening

The Aquarion's land units now sport magnificent mermaid tails, making them amphibious warriors. This grants them effortless water traversal, though land movement is slightly slower. A significant addition is flooded terrain, allowing land and naval units to coexist for the first time.

The Aquarion's architecture has also undergone an aquatic makeover. Buildings can now be constructed on water, with Lost Cities nestled within deep-sea ruins, providing ideal watery strongholds. A new structure, the Atoll, connects water cities, eliminating the need for roads. Aqua Crops, a permanent addition, function similarly to land-based crops.

New aquatic adversaries join the fray. Sharks provide surprise attacks, Puffers unleash long-range bombardments, and Jellies deliver electrifying shocks. Returning favorites, the Tridentons and Crabs, also receive enhancements; Crabs now flood tiles they traverse, synergizing perfectly with the mermaid-tailed troops. Intrigued? Check out the trailer!
