May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, packed with a variety of events and raid opportunities. The highlight for many will undoubtedly be the return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing with it the special move Nature’s Madness and a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following that, starting on May 12th, the Lake Trio will make their appearance, varying by region: Uxie will be available in the Asia-Pacific, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

After the Lake Trio's stint, Tapu Bulu will take over the Five-Star raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature’s Madness and a Shiny form.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and wrapping up with Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

And Here Are the Details of All the Events

The month will see a variety of events starting with "Growing Up" from May 2nd to 7th, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. "Crown Clash" will run from May 10th to 18th, overlapping with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is scheduled for May 11th, with the featured Pokémon yet to be revealed. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will take place from May 14th to 18th, with a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.

"Final Strike: GO Battle Week" is set for May 21st to 27th, and the May Community Day Classic will occur on May 24th. The month will close with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
