As soon as the update dropped, I couldn't resist using my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs. My luck was mixed; I managed to pull a Charizard EX, but the rest of the haul was less impressive. However, finding a Pokémon Center Lady card provided some solace, as her ability to heal Special Conditions is a valuable asset, especially when facing opponents who inflict Burns.
Alongside the new cards, the update introduces an Emblem event where players can earn stylish badges to show off to friends. The most exciting addition, however, is the introduction of Ranked Matches. These matches will see you competing against other Trainers, climbing from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Your performance will be tracked with points, and at the end of the approximately one-month season, you'll be awarded an emblem. This development has reignited my passion for deck-building and competitive play.
