If today's newly revealed details about the Pokemon GO Road Trip 2025 don't get you excited, nothing will. Following closely on the heels of the recently announced Ancients Recovered Go Pass, it's clear Pokemon Go enthusiasts have plenty to anticipate.
Alongside the actual real-world tour visiting seven European cities, you can also discover Pokémon GO Road Trip Truck stops within the AR game - with summer-themed Pikachu taking center stage in one-star Raids. A successful catch gives you a chance to earn a Location Background from the city, making it well worth a try.
Road trip gameplay also includes wild Pokemon encounters featuring Wooloo, Phanpy, and Alolan Geodude. Additionally, increased shiny rates throughout the event improve your chances, with extra gyms and PokéStops added as well.
Keep an eye out for stray Poké Balls on the map - tap them for surprise encounters with Voltorb, Electrode, Foongus, or Galarian Stunfisk! As for the summer-themed Pikachu, complete event-specific tasks for a shot at that sought-after encounter.
Throughout participating cities, you'll benefit from Confetti and 3-hour Lure bonuses, plus 50% reduced Stardust costs for trades. Up to five special trades will be available daily, and you can also get a special evolution bonus for Alolan Graveler, which may evolve into Alolan Golem with Rollout.
