Pokémon TCG Pocket is getting a major update! Trading is finally here, alongside the highly anticipated Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Get ready to swap cards with friends!
Pokémon TCG Pocket: Space-Time Smackdown and Trading Launch Dates
Trading arrives on January 29th, 2025, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th. This update also introduces new binder and display board covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.
The long-awaited trading feature requires trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Initially, only cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions (rarity levels 1-4 and ★1) will be tradeable, with more cards promised in future updates.
Space-Time Smackdown: A Sinnoh Celebration
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion focuses on the Sinnoh region, introducing two new booster packs featuring Dialga and Palkia, and showcasing fresh card artwork. Lucario, and the beloved Sinnoh starters—Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup—will also join the roster.
