PlayStation Productions Unveils Slate of Game Adaptations at CES 2025
PlayStation Productions made a splash at CES 2025, announcing several new game adaptations for film and television. The January 7th presentation showcased a diverse range of projects, expanding the company's presence in the entertainment industry.
Among the highlights:
- Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Anime: A new anime series based on the popular Ghost of Tsushima game's multiplayer mode, Legends, is in development with Crunchyroll and Aniplex. Directed by Takanobu Mizumo, with story composition by Gen Urobuchi, and a soundtrack partnership with Sony Music, the series is slated for a Crunchyroll exclusive premiere in 2027.
- Horizon Zero Dawn and Helldivers 2 Films: Film adaptations of Horizon Zero Dawn (produced by Sony Pictures) and Helldivers 2 (produced by Columbia Pictures) are officially in the works, though details remain scarce.
